Daejeon Green Hills is an urban landscape inspired by the principles of natural geometry, fluidity, and flexible space within a futuristic green environment. The design features four harmonious rings that bring order, logic, and synchronicity to the city. A central theme of green flowing bands, interwoven with constellations of towers, creates a seamless visual identity. However, each ring retains its own unique designation, influenced by the existing structures within it.
Daejeon Green Hills aims to deliver a cutting-edge urban development that integrates the city’s natural landscape, architectural ambition, and existing landmark buildings. These elements come together in a dynamic architectural form that enhances the city’s identity.
The breathtaking natural surroundings of Daejeon serve as the primary inspiration for the design. The four mountains encircling the city are reflected in the four rings of the development, while the ribbon-like bands of buildings, with towers emerging from them, mirror the surrounding mountain-scape. Green vegetation cascades along the sides of the towers and weaves through the connecting bands, reinforcing the organic nature of the design. Ultimately, the elasticity of the design provides Daejeon with a high degree of flexibility, allowing the concept to adapt to the city’s evolving needs.
